Sad news today: my trip to Italy this summer had to be cancelled. I'm rather disappointed about it, considering I haven't seen my family in almost two years now; and I was so excited to explore the culture and see the sights with them. Luckily, it was was an absolutely beautiful day in Houston today - a tad bit hot, but gorgeous otherwise - so that made me feel a little bit better. I've been trying to get my mind off of it by staring at gorgeous pictures of palm trees that remind me of summers back home in Orange County. At times like these, I guess all you can do is keep palm and carry on.
